Route Availability Document (RAD)

1 .Introduction

This AIP SUP announce the publication of the Route Availability Document (RAD) through an Excel sheet as a method for displaying the aviation guide appendix for the preferred routes in the Saudi airspace, which facilitates the process of selecting the preferred routes, whether for crossing the airspace as well as for landing or taking off from Saudi aerodromes.

2 .Description

The RAD contains:

FIRs entry and departing aerodromes.
FIRs exit and destinate aerodromes.
Entry FIR waypoint.
Segment altitude/flight level.
Route segment.
Exit FIR waypoint.
Segment restrictions (availability, remarks, operational hours restrictions)

3 .Procedures and requirements

a. This AIP SUP starts on 16 APR 2026.

b. Eastbound flights on ATS route L692 shall NOT FPL via ALROK-G783-TANSU after VATIX.

c. Eastbound flights on ATS route M440 shall NOT FPL via DANUX-G783 TANSU after DAVLU.

d. Flights entering OMAE FIR via RIBOT-M550 and MUXIT-M318 must have prior approval from OMAE GCAA, all other airlines must use either G783-TANSU or M628-PEKEM.

e. G783-TANSU and M628-PEKEM are available to be used as an alternative ATS route when RIBOTM550 and MUXIT-M318 are CLOSED.

f. Flights from OMAE FIR ADs and landing the following aerodromes: OERK, OEJN, OEGN, OEAB, OETF shall enter Jeddah FIR via RIBOT or PEKEM and follow routes as described.

g. Domestic Flights flying via V31 shall be at FL160-190 between BAH and EGPOB.

h. ATS Routes T218 and M309 are available at FL320 and above when OER05A is active.

i. ATS Route L681 is only available between GISRA and ORLEK.

j. Flights from HECC FIR on M999 and landing OEJN expect to cross DEDLI FL330 or below.

k. Flights from ORBB FIR and landing HESH or HEGN expect to cross KITOT FL280 or FL320 based on level availability.

l. Traffic landing OOMS via M440 expect to cross MIDGU FL370 or below.

m. All flights landing OEDF or OBBB FIR via N318 or N685 expect to cross GESOR FL250.

n. Free Route Airspace procedures are applicable in the Jeddah ACC South-East Sector (ENR 2.1) of Jeddah FIR betweenFL300 and FL600, please note that outside of the Free Route Airspace, published ATS routes remain applicable.
